1)      Are your price comparisons unbiased?

Yes.  The store with the lowest price and coupon combination found within our database is the store that shows up first in our comparison results.  The last column in our comparison grid is the ‘Final Price with Coupon’ and we sort the results based on this price.  Other price comparison sites have 'featured' sellers at the top of their listings, but don't be fooled into thinking they're the best deal.  Featured sellers typically just pay more advertising fees to have their listings displayed at the top.  We think consumers deserve better.

 

2)      Do you include refurbished products?

No, we do not list refurbished products on the website because we want to avoid comparing a new price to a refurbished price for a given product.  If you come across a refurbished product, please submit the error through our ‘Report an Error’ link, which can be found at the bottom of our price comparison pages.

 

3)      How do I copy the Coupon Codes listed on this site?

We recommend copying the code using your mouse.  Highlight the coupon code and then copy it by right clicking your mouse and selecting ‘copy’.  Once you have the code copied, visit the online store by clicking the ‘Shop’ button.  Add the product to your shopping cart and look for the ‘promotional code’ or 'coupon code' field during the checkout process.  Place your cursor inside the coupon code field and right-click, then select ‘paste’. Make sure the coupon code is applied to your order and verify your savings prior to checking out. 

 

4)      How can I learn more about a particular coupon listed for a product?

Hover your mouse pointer over the Coupon Name and you should see a ‘Coupon Details’ window pop up.  This window will provide details such as restrictions, expiration dates, etc.

 

5) How can I learn more about an individual store?

Under each store logo is a numerical rating.  Hover your mouse pointer over this rating to learn more about the store including customer service availability and product return policies.

 

6) How do you exclude stores that are not authorized resellers?

Most manufacturers make this information available through their websites assuming they have an authorized dealer program (some make no distinction).  Many online stores are not authorized for any brands, so we simply choose not to partner with them.  However, some of our partner stores are authorized for some brands, but not others.  We exclude the unauthorized brands using the information referenced above from the manufacturers.  Since this information is constantly changing, it is subject to errors and omissions.  If you come across an online store that is not authorized for a particular brand, please email us admin(at)pricesandcoupons.  If you want to learn more about authorized retailers, you can visit our Buying Guide page.
